Experience

Elizabeth Batson has been helping people as a licensed marriage and family therapist (Lic. #MFC 51584) since May 2012. She earned her MA in counseling psychology from Santa Clara University in 2009 and became certified in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy in 2021.

Previously Elizabeth was a Counseling Intern at the Process Therapy Institute, working with diverse clients; at Parents Helping Parents, counseling parents and siblings of children with special needs; at the Silicon Valley Independent Living Center, working with adults with disabilities or special needs and as a Counseling Trainee at the Adolescent Counseling Services, helping middle school students.

Before becoming a counselor, Elizabeth received her MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and worked in marketing, business, and technology licensing. During those years, her volunteer jobs included parent educator, classroom aide, and Girl Scout leader.
